Capes, Shrugs, and Boleros OH MY!

Many brides these days are trying to differentiate what they wear at their wedding ceremony from what they wear at their wedding reception! These bridal accessories are a great way to do so especially if you don’t want to buy another whole dress!!!  Or if you do decide to go with two dresses, your shrug or bolero could be the constant piece you pair with both gowns.  These capes, shrugs, and boleros are also perfect if you want to be more covered up for a religious ceremony!

The 2012 Oscar’s Fabulous List

Most Fabulous…

Gwyneth Paltrow looked absolutely regal in this white Tom Ford gown!  White was a big trend on the red carpet last night!  Giuliana Rancic, Rooney Mara, and Octavia Spencer also dazzled in white.  Another favorite was the always stunning, Michelle Williams who wore coral, Louis Vuitton.  Cameron Diaz was glamorous in nude Gucci and her presenting partner Jennifer Lopez wore a shimmery low-cut Zuhair Murad gown!!!  Lastly, on our most fabulous list is Penelope Cruz in Armani Privé.  Does she ever not long amazing???

Most Fabulous Power Couples…

I know everyone was anxiously waiting to see what Angelina was going to wear last night, and not being the biggest Angelina fan, I have to admit she looked gorgeous!  Angelina was wearing an Atlelier Versace gown with a very sexy high slit…everyone was talking about that leg this morning!!! Brad donned a Tom Ford tux, and looked handsome as usual.  Another gorgeous couple was George Clooney and Stacy Keibler!  Everyone was saying Keibler in Marchesa resembled a certain very desirable gold statue George was hoping for!  George was wearing a Giorgio Armani tuxedo.

 Least Fabulous…

The movie Bridesmaids was hysterical and all the actresses were a huge hit in the film, but when it came to the red carpet last night most of the ladies unfortunately struck out!!!  Kristen Wiig looked stunning except for the fact that you didn’t know where she ended and the dress began; I wish the color was a little darker!  Another color issue for Bridesmaids star Ellie Kemper, the gown matched her hair a little too well!  Love Melissa McCarthy, but this dress did not work well with her figure.  Lastly, Wendi McLendon-Covey’s gown washed her out and it looked a little bit like she was going to prom!  A very nice prom that is!!!

The 2012 Grammy’s Fabulous List

Most Fabulous…

As far as best dressed goes for The Grammy’s this past Sunday night, I think we can all agree Rihanna won by a landslide!  Rihanna wore an Armani gown, which she collaborated with the designer on to achieve the Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface look she was going for!  Other favorites were Carrie Underwood sparkling in Gomez-Gracia!   Katy Perry blue from head to toe in Ellie Saab (she didn’t seem so blue performing her new single “Part of Me” about a certain comedian ex)!  Let’s not forget about the boys!!!  Mario Manningham and Victor Cruz, recent Super Bowl champions, were holding their own on the red carpet!!!

Almost Fabulous…

Fergie and Kelly Osbourne were halfway there with their looks.  Kelly’s Tom Ward dress was glamorous and gorgeous, but sorry Kelly, only Katy Perry can pull off purple hair!  The orangey-red color of Fergie’s Jean Paul Gaultier dress was unbelievable, but over underwear, not so much!

Least Fabulous…

Then we have the always entertaining worst dressed list.  I hate to say it because I’m a big fan of all things Nicki Minaj and Versace, but Nicki, what were you thinking???  Then there was Sasha Gradiva to take some of the negative attention off of the rap princess.  What was up with the machine gun arm?  Can someone please explain!  Lastly, Anne V ok we know you’re a bodacious super model, but this half dress does not even work for you!  Ta-ta till The Oscars!!!
