Beachy Keen…
Happy May! In honor of the first day of May here is a beachy post to put you in a sunshiney-it’s almost summer kind of mood! I love all these different ways to make beach…chic. Ecspecially, using conch shells as flower pots, white lounge couches right on the beach, and sandollar accented invites…genius!

The Getaway Dress
The “getaway dress” trend this year has to be one of our favorites! What better way to show off your personality and style than having a second dress to change into and surprise your guests! Not only does it allow you to be much more comfortable, but it also is a great alternative for a bride having a beach wedding that doesn’t want to have to deal with the weight of a floor length gown! If you are going traditional for your ceremony, be sure to have something textured or flirty for your reception. Some girls even throw in some color to change it up a bit from the norm of having ivory or white. And please, DO NOT forget that fabulous shoes and accessories are the key to making this dress pop. Throw on some killer heels and bold jewelry and dance the night away! Which second dress would you go for?

Bringing Sexy Back…
A big trend in bridal this season is showing off some back, which can be very sexy! This can be done with a very low back as seen on Jim Hjelm Blush style 1202; cut-outs are also very popular like on Jim Hjelm style 8211, Alvina Valenta style 9202, Tara Keely style 2201, Hayley Paige style 6202 in this case a heart cut-out, and lastly Hayley Paige style 6206! Other fun ways to show off your back could be a cute bow like the one on Jim Hjelm Blush style 1201 or a crystalized sheer corset back as you see on Hayley Paige style 6203.
