Since February is the month of love, and us being a bridal company and all- we wanted to showcase all of our amazing couples and their love stories that will sweep just about anyone off their feet. If you have an incredible story behind how you and your loved one met, fell in love, or even how he proposed- we want to hear it!
We will be accepting stories (and photos, of course!) starting TODAY. Send all the love and romance you have to firstname.lastname@example.org along with which gown you wore (or designer you will wear!) and the store you purchased it from by February 8th. The top 5 stories (to be picked by us JLM staffers) will be showcased right here on the Aisle Style blog starting on Sunday, February 10th with the winner being put on display on Valentine’s Day! The extra special treat? That lucky Valentines Day couple will win a $100 American Express Gift Card!
When we asked designer Hayley Paige to document her recent travels to Houston, Texas for a trunk show visit at Now & Forever Bridal Boutique, she was more than happy to oblige! Here we have some behind the scenes photos from this past weekend that we hope you enjoy!

Say hello, ladies!
Lovely models again in Guindon and Hepburn.
We decided to take a break from our traditional bridal blogging to bring you some holiday cheer in the form of Hayley Paige! We sat down with the designer to see exactly what she is asking Santa for this year. Here’s what she said!
1. I LOVED incorporating beaded boleros and jewele necklines into my collection this season and this bib necklace from BCBG is a
perfect statement piece for everyday wear!
2. Unicorn iPhone case. Obviously.
3. Iridescent sky scraper booties from Top Shop.
4. What’s a Christmas list without socks? These sheer lace socks are uber chic and sass up any basic pump. Top Shop.
5. Cannot get enough of this pouty girl/gangster Nancy Sinatra.
6. Perfect New Year’s dress with my three favorite Hayley Paige details: sheer, sparkle, and feathers.
7. Carry all Kate Spade tote with a great attitude.
8. As a kid, I used to put potato chips in my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches…gourmet chocolate covered potato chips from Neiman
Marcus sound right up my ally!
9. Nars Neon Pink Matte Lipstick In “Kissmequick”…So I can leave my mark under the mistletoe of course!
10. A Cinderella Moment <3

It is now Tuesday evening and another year has come and gone. Bridal Market for JLM Couture is officially over. We started with an amazing event Friday evening (lots of photos to be posted on our facebook pages!) followed by 3 days of craziness in our showroom. We are so thankful for all of the support we’ve received from our stores, amazing publications, and dear friends over the past few days. Without you none of this would be possible and we love you all!
It is the last and final Lazaro Wedneday. It certainly has been a lot of fun these past few weeks, and we are sure you will be happy with Friday’s performance. Here is another litte peek as to what we are planning for Friday!
So yes, we are a little late today. But we have good reason! We are working hard to put together a really incredible Bridal Market experience! That said, we are interrupting your regularly scheduled Hayley Paige Tuesday (but did you see her here on Saturday?) for this sneak peek we placed on Instagram earlier today (@JLM_Couture). We can’t wait to show you what we’re up to!
The week has arrived! Bridal Market is this weekend and we. can’t. wait!
We have a special little Saturday treat for you today! We were chatting it up with Hayley Paige and Blush designer Hayley on what she is looking forward to this Market, and some insider tips to making it through this crazy week! Enjoy!
From the Hayley Paige facebook!
What is your favorite thing about Bridal Market?
The very first unveiling of a new collection during a market appointment or press presentation is absolutely magical. That is the “ta-da” moment in which my veins light up with excitement and I go, “let’s rock”. Aside from that of course, I also LOVE the cupcakes and the camaraderie! Whether it’s a bridal magazine event, a market appointment, or press soiree, there are always tiny sparkle treats to munch on and happy smiling industry people.
What’s your go to Bridal Market Starbucks drink?
Are you ready for this? Grande extra hot skim green tea latte with extra matcha, hold the classic syrup. Everything you’ve heard about the super powers behind matcha is true. It’s speedy charisma in a cup! And even better, the Starbucks on Fashion Avenue allows me to summon the order by a pseudonym: “green magic”.
What is your best Bridal Market destresser?
The gym! And in a time crunch, a spontaneous dance off in the design office does the trick.
Fall or Spring?
I love the fact that the bridal industry is not confined by seasonality as much as ready-to-wear. I am attracted to the versatility in offering cover-ups for a number of my gowns, as well as removable layering techniques. With regards to personal style, I am a sunny Californian transplanted in a (more often than not) freezing concrete jungle, so even in the dead of winter I have no shame in wearing neon colors and floral prints under a giant puffer jacket.
Your Bridal Market playlist- go!
I typically have my Led Zeppelin/Pink Floyd/Queen mix on repeat, but I also frequent Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’” and Tom Jones’s “She’s a Lady” to put some fast sass in the room.
