JLM Couture outfits Mariah Carey for Disney vow renewal

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on April 30, 2013 in a fairy tale ceremony at Disneyland. Mariah adorned a ruffled silk organza ball gown fit for a princess designed by our very own Lazaro Perez. The gown was chosen at the JLM Couture Flagship Salon on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood, California.
Feeling Peachy…
With NYC feeling more like winter today than the the first day of Spring, we decided to brighten things up around here. March Trunk Shows at JLM Boutique
Happy Friday and happy March 1st! We have a great lineup of trunk shows this month at the JLM Flagship Salon in West Hollywood, CA starting this weekend with Lazaro and Tara Keely! We are almost completely booked, so if are interested in an appointment- book now! Lazaro is so excited to meet you!
Also- this will be his last trunk show for the Spring 2013 season, so if you’re loving his latest collection- make your way on down to 352 N Robertson Blvd and say hello!

1. Merchandise is “as is” and all sales are final.
2. We know you love the men in your life, but please- …leave them at home! (This is due to privacy issue’s with our other brides)
3. No alterations are provided.

JLM Couture Love Story #2
The ultimate love story. We actually met 8 and 1/2 years ago and we’ve been dating for 8 years. He lives just a few houses away from mine and I never knew he existed. Believe it or not, we met on the internet when his cousin, who was also my friend, introduced us. Unfortunately, when we started talking, I was on the verge of entering another relationship. When I started that relationship, my fiance refused to speak to me. And in the 3 days the other relationship lasted ( yes 3 days!), I realised how much I missed him. I knew that he offered so much more than the ’3 day wonder’ :). So we just talked for about 6 months and then decided to give it a try. Its been 8 years since! I think I knew that he was the one for me was when I saw that unconditional love from him when my dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Every single day he made those trips to chemo and radiation and back. When my dad was too ill to move, I saw my fiance sleep on a sofa half his size just in case my dad needed to be moved in the night. I saw him ask my father for his blessings to marry me the night before he passed. I also saw him stick by me when my father passed, refusing to be moved just to make sure that I was going to be ok. I still see him here today, standing by me no matter what. And on December 21st, I’ll see him at the end of the aisle, waiting on me to marry him in my gorgeous Lazaro gown! I hope you enjoyed my love story and even though its bittersweet for me, I know that I have someone who my father approves of and that means the world to me. I have someone who can almost fill those shoes my dad left…

Since February is the month of love, and us being a bridal company and all- we wanted to showcase all of our amazing couples and their love stories that will sweep just about anyone off their feet. If you have an incredible story behind how you and your loved one met, fell in love, or even how he proposed- we want to hear it!
We will be accepting stories (and photos, of course!) starting TODAY. Send all the love and romance you have to jlmweddings@jlmcinc.com along with which gown you wore (or designer you will wear!) and the store you purchased it from by February 8th. The top 5 stories (to be picked by us JLM staffers) will be showcased right here on the Aisle Style blog starting on Sunday, February 10th with the winner being put on display on Valentine’s Day! The extra special treat? That lucky Valentines Day couple will win a $100 American Express Gift Card!
