We were married at Serenbe, a sustainable farm resort in rural Georgia. We rented the entire resort to create an intimate weekend affair for our guests with many scheduled activities. The weather was flawless. The ceremony was held in a field under a fully bloomed lilac tree while a classical guitar played. I was barefoot, carried peonies, and wore a birdcage veil. The reception was under an open-air lakefront pavilion with an 8-piece Motown band. A firework show finished the night. My dog was in the wedding and wore a flower made from lace from my gown.

Derek and I met a few years ago after being set-up by an unusual matchmaker…his mom. After three years of dating long distance, we couldn’t have been more excited to get married. I am from a small town in East Texas and he grew up in Charlotte, N.C., but we knew we wanted to get married in Vero Beach, FL. Derek and I wanted to have a full weekend of celebrations and provide a mini beach vacation for all of our guests.

It was love at first sight and 2 years later we tied the knot. We had a beautiful wedding at The Rockleigh in New Jersey. We had a garden ceremony as the bride always dreamed of. Our colors were eggplant purple and pops of gold. My bridesmaids wore beautiful eggplant silky taffeta dresses. The day was shared with our closest friends and family and it was absolutely perfect.
Marissa’s bridesmaids wore Alvina Valenta bridesmaids dresses style 9025 , style 9045 , style 9043 , Jim Hjelm Occasions Bridesmaids dresses style 5054 , style 5055 , and Lazaro Bridesmaids dress style 3032 , all in Eggplant silky taffeta.

Kevin and I got married on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at The Manor House at Commonwealth in Horsham, Pennsylvania. I knew I wanted to do a green, but nothing too dark or too bright. The girls dresses worked wonderfully with the pink we also incorporated into the colors and silky taffeta was cool for the summer and almost had a pretty shimmer to it.

Once upon a time, there was a boy name Chris & a girl named Karrie. They decided to get married in a magical place known as Disney World. After saying their ”I dos” in view of the famous Cinderella’s Castle, guests were escorted to a cocktail hour in ECPOT which provided an amazing view of the fireworks show exploding over the skies after which a grand reception with a formal dinner was held. The night ended at one stroke past midnight after an evening of wining, dining and dancing and as the fairy tale goes… they lived happily ever after.

Tony and I were married on a beautiful spring day, May 1st, 2010. We anticipated cool weather, maybe even snow, and instead got 82 degrees and sunny! The tulips and cherry blossoms were beautiful.
The whole color scheme of our wedding was based off the ad for the Jim Hjelm Ocassions Bridesmaids dresses they ended up wearing. Pink and white flowers, ivory and gold and the beautiful dresses in my favorite color. The day, the venue and the dresses couldn’t have been more perfect!

My husband and I picked our venue, the Lily Barn, first, and after that everything fell into place. We wanted the flowers to feel a little bit wild like Tennessee and the attire to feel a little bit vintage like the barn. My ’30s-inspired lace sheath by Lazaro hit just the right note of old world romance and elegance. I loved that I wore the same designer as my older sister had to her wedding. It felt like a tradition worth building.
New York, NY, United States
Vikas and Jennifer had a traditional catholic ceremony at a church on Park Avenue in the Upper East Side neighborhood of New York City. Afterwards, they celebrated with family and friends at an evening reception at the Central Park Boathouse. The room was decorated with many candles and flowers of different shades of purple and provided a very “New York” atmosphere for their out of town guests to enjoy. The highlight of their reception was the live band, that had every guest out on the dance floor for most of the evening. The bridesmaids dresses were Lazaro, LZ3041. The dress was tranquil and the sash was plum.

My husband and I wanted our wedding to be look and feel very natural. We planned everything down to the last detail. It was my maid of honor that actually found this dress; it was the first piece to the puzzle. We loved the green as we were having an outdoor wedding and wanted to incorporate those natural colors into our wedding. The dresses looked amazing on the girls and awesome in photos. The best part is that the girls will be able to wear the dresses again as they don’t look like the typical bridesmaid dress.

After only 3 dates, I knew my husband was “the one” and were engaged about 5 months later! When I first went dress shopping I was not expecting to find my dream dress on my first trip, but then there it was. The third dress I tried on was the silk duchess satin Alvina Valenta soft fluted gown and I just knew. Next, I found a brooch to match both my style & my dress. Then I felt complete, knowing I would look & feel both beautiful & stylish for my special day!

Dave and I had a “destination wedding” in my hometown, Phoenix, Arizona. We were married at Saint Mary’s Basilica in downtown Phoenix and then held the reception at the Sanctuary Resort on Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley which was also where all of our guests stayed during the wedding weekend.

William and I had a year and half engagement which gave me more than enough time to plan my perfect wedding. I scoured magazines and blogs for inspiration. After doing much research I learned: I love glamour and glitz, I love draping, I love the colors black, gray, blush and ivory, I love big flower arrangements and I love ruffles and bows. Fashion is a passion of mine so searching for bridesmaid’s dresses with my mom and maid of honor was a blast. After months of trying on many dresses we discovered the stunning graphite Jim Hjelm dress. Perfection.

My husband, Rich, and I got married on May 28, 2011 in Philadelphia. Luckily, we had a gorgeous day because my parents had worked for months to make their backyard look like paradise and they succeeded! It was the perfect setting to take pictures with my bridal party before leaving for the church. It just so happened that BOTH dresses were Jim Hjelm! It was obvious I was naturally drawn to the style. My wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses complimented each other perfectly.

Keaton and I grew up in North Carolina, went to the same college at the same time, but didn’t meet until a few years after we both moved to NYC. I wore a gorgeous Lazaro gown that I am still in love with and my girls got to choose from various JLM bridesmaids styles all in the same fabric and color. We just celebrated our third anniversary and the memories of that day still make us smile as much as ever, it was perfect.
Bridesmaids dress styles include Occasions 5801 & 5713, Alvina Valenta 9846, and Lazaro 3727.

I can honestly say that my wedding gown found me… my wedding gown was the first and only dress I tried on. The minute I had it on I just knew “this was the dress for me”. The luxurious fabric and delicate embroidery was so unique, yet had a traditional look with a modern edge to it. I can only describe it as “romantic” and that became the theme for my wedding.
