We tied the knot in Cartagena, an enchanting city in the Caribbean coast of Colombia, our home country. Cartagena was the perfect setting for a traditional Latin American wedding, the ceremony took place at Iglesia Santo Domingo, the oldest church in the city, followed by a formal reception for 150 guests in a beautiful colonial house. I wore a Flamenco inspired bridal gown by Lazaro, and complemented it with a long sleeve lace bolero and 2 feather hair flowers. Our photos are simply beautiful and it is a day we will remember forever.
Our wedding day was beautiful. Although there were over 350 people, it still felt very intimate. The reception took place at the Croatian Cultural Center. Floor-to-ceiling draping graced the walls with elaborate orchid arrangements for centerpieces on elegant damask linens.Bridesmaids accompanied the bride in their slim fitting graphite dresses

We wanted a unique, glamorous, modern, and romantic wedding. I know that’s a lot of adjectives, but our wedding hit each one out of the park! To set the tone, we of course had to choose a unique venue – The Liberty Hotel in Boston. Between my knockout Lazaro gown, my bridesmaids’ elegant Alvina Valenta dresses, our gleaming decor, the sensational flowers and a ton of love, we definitely achieved something glamorous, modern and romantic, too. 11/5/11 was better than I could have imagined!

Trump Soho was our wedding venue, I knew my wedding dress should reflect the same modern luxury.
I was forced into an early dress scouting trip since my Mom was in-town. The only definitive no I gave my consultant was “no beading”. She ignored me and brought in several dresses.. This Lazaro dress was #5 and I immediately fell in love. I tried on 3 more and then announced I was done. I knew which one I’d be wearing on my wedding day.
I’ve never felt prettier than on the day of my wedding. The modest train allowed me to feel like a princess for the ceremony and with the bustling, I was able to enjoy the party and dancing at the reception.

Eric and I got married on July 2nd at Eric’s parents’ home on Cape Cod. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception, and were fortunate to have just the most beautiful weather on the day. I wore an ivory Lazaro dress with a sweetheart neckline and antique-inspired beaded belt. The dress reflected my personality and style perfectly. The quality and design of the dress was unparalleled, and I felt like a true princess on the day. This paved the way for a fun-filled, eventful day, and the most memorable occasion to date.

Nick and I were married in beautiful Newport, Rhode Island in September. The ceremony was at Trinity Church, one of the oldest and most historic churches in Newport. The reception was at Belle Mer overlooking the Newport Bridge and Narragansett Bay. It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day shared with our family and friends!
I always envisioned myself in a lace wedding dress however as soon as I stepped into the Lazaro ballgown I knew it was the one. I truly felt like a bride!

Mat and I imagined a romantic, rock n roll, fantasy wedding that would tell our love story to our 200 guests. For a theme, we agreed that the 1986 fantasy cult film the Labyrinth starring David Bowie was exactly the enchanting look we wanted for our wedding. So while searching for my gown, I had the elaborate dress Jennifer Connely wore in the film in the back of my mind. As soon as I tried on my intricately designed Lazaro gown, and my mother saw me, we both knew it was the right dress. I’m quite petite (only 5’1), and Lazaro’s delicate gown really accented everything I wanted it to. At our wedding, I felt more beautiful than I ever have before and it truly was a magical night.
Mackinac Island, MI, United States
My husband and I met in L.A., but we’re originally from Michigan. We chose to get married on Mackinac Island because it’s a very special place that highlights all the beauty of our home state, especially in autumn. We wanted a vintage feel, and Mackinac has incredible history. There are no cars, so our guests took bikes and carriages, which added to the old fashioned charm. We chose to have a very personal, intimate wedding; we wanted it to be a weekend party with our nearest and dearest. From start to finish it was everything we dreamed.

The first thing my mom and I did when I got engaged was took a trip to NY to go on the ultimate dress hunt. As soon as we walked into the first boutique I saw a girl standing in the mirror, I turned to my mom and said that’s my dress! When I finally put it on I knew that was it. Still when I look at it I LOVE my dress. Its classic beauty is timeless. I know I’ll look back years later at my wedding pictures and still be happy with the choice I made.

Jared and I both had the same vision for a wedding: classic, elegant and traditional. We wanted to showcase the beauty of the gardens and mansion so we chose a palette of rich jewel tones with gold accents. Given the elaborate gardens and traditional décor in the mansion, we were able to keep our added details simple. The only place where I deviated from traditional was with my dress. Thankfully, my Matron of Honor convinced me that if there is a day to wear a fluffy, feathery dress, it’s your wedding day.

Brandon and I are both organic produce farmers and met in a lettuce production class! We got married in the 1871 chapel of St.Philip church. Our reception was on my family farm, Delvin Farms. From the antique chapel to the shabby chic farm reception, everything was perfect! My Lazaro dress was beautiful and the perfect fit for the wedding we wanted. It had the vintage look with the satin dress in blush color, and was elegant with the swarovski crystals and satin ribbon.

It was love at first sight and 2 years later we tied the knot. We had a beautiful wedding at The Rockleigh in New Jersey. We had a garden ceremony as the bride always dreamed of. Our colors were eggplant purple and pops of gold. My bridesmaids wore beautiful eggplant silky taffeta dresses. The day was shared with our closest friends and family and it was absolutely perfect.
Marissa’s bridesmaids wore Alvina Valenta bridesmaids dresses style 9025 , style 9045 , style 9043 , Jim Hjelm Occasions Bridesmaids dresses style 5054 , style 5055 , and Lazaro Bridesmaids dress style 3032 , all in Eggplant silky taffeta.

I fell in love with the bodice of one dress and the skirt of a second dress. The helpful staff at Gigi of Mequon contacted the designer and I was able to get a custom-made gown that incorporated the two styles I wanted. The dress turned out beautifully! We had a very modern wedding and the dress accentuated our style perfectly. I felt like a princess on our wedding day. Our guests’ jaws dropped when I walked down the isle in this custom creation.

My husband & I have been together almost ten years, we have grown up together & will grow old together. For our DIY wedding we created a romantic ,vintage chic scene and spent lots of time incorporating a little bit of ourselves into every detail. I crocheted all the groomsman’s bow ties, made my veil and we made & sewed all of our invitations, wrote our entire wedding ceremony and fermented wine for our favors. Our wedding was a group effort & would not of been possible without the unconditional support & love of all our friends & family

The “givens” about Brigid and Jim’s wedding, beyond being meant for each other: An autumn wedding, reflecting the season’s beauty and color and all about family and friends. Brigid didn’t expect dress shopping with her mom to end in a magical moment when you know immediately that you have found the perfect dress. But that’s exactly what happened when Brigid tried on that Lazaro antique satin gown. Brigid and Jim had their dream wedding, in rich colors of cinnamon, gold and copper, surrounded by friends and family.

Carlo and I had our fairy-tale wedding. Our ceremony was at St. Francis Catholic Church and it was followed by our reception at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa. The reception was absolutely breath-taking in the star-light room. Our colors were yellow, gold and white. The flowers were orchids, hydrangeas and roses. Our song was Yellow, by Coldplay. It truly was a dream come true and a night filled with love and happiness surrounded by our friends, our 6 groomsmen and bridesmaids and family.

My husband and I picked our venue, the Lily Barn, first, and after that everything fell into place. We wanted the flowers to feel a little bit wild like Tennessee and the attire to feel a little bit vintage like the barn. My ’30s-inspired lace sheath by Lazaro hit just the right note of old world romance and elegance. I loved that I wore the same designer as my older sister had to her wedding. It felt like a tradition worth building.

Vikas and Jennifer had a traditional catholic ceremony at a church on Park Avenue in the Upper East Side neighborhood of New York City. Afterwards, they celebrated with family and friends at an evening reception at the Central Park Boathouse. The room was decorated with many candles and flowers of different shades of purple and provided a very “New York” atmosphere for their out of town guests to enjoy. The highlight of their reception was the live band, that had every guest out on the dance floor for most of the evening. The bridesmaids dresses were Lazaro, LZ3041. The dress was tranquil and the sash was plum.

As a bride from Michigan, I dreamed of finding the perfect Lazaro dress. With limited selection in my town, I flew to Lazaro’s trunk show at Kleinfeld NYC in November 2010. Not only did I get to meet him, but he also helped my pick the perfect gown. It was my most treasured wedding moment. The dress is truly one of a kind, and my fiance was blown away on our wedding day.

We decided on an intimate ceremony near Kona on The Big Island of Hawaii. We choose the Hilton Waikoloa as we have vacationed there together and always felt it would be perfect for our destination wedding/honeymoon. We selected our favorite spot for our sunset ceremony followed by an intimate dinner. While we decided on a destination event only for us, I still dreamed of wearing a dramatic bridal gown rather than a less formal choice. I selected my gorgeous Lazaro hand-embroidered/beaded gown in ivory – I fell in love with the fitted design and fabulous floral train.

Michelle and Andrew always wanted to get married in Boca Raton, FL, Michelle’s hometown, in a traditional Catholic ceremony paired with a modern wedding reception…and a few “Big Apple” touches since they live in NYC! The bride wore an ivory mermaid Lazaro gown with ruffle details featuring “flamenco” layers stretching into a dramatic train, a cathedral-length veil and black Christian Louboutin heels. After dinner and many warm wishes for the bride and groom, the DJ had the entire room on the dance floor…closing the party with Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York!”

Mike and I were married on a beautiful fall day in the small town of Manchester, Michigan. We said our vows in front of our loving friends in family in the same church my parents were married in 32 years earlier. Our day was filled with so much happiness and love for not only each other but all of those who had traveled from near and far to celebrate this momentous occasion with us. We wanted to treat our guests to a night they wouldn’t forget.
