Jared and I met while I was walking my dog…Jared was literally the boy next door. I asked him to go with me on my walk, and we became inseparable ever since. We’ve been together for almost 6 years, and on October 26, 2013 made it official in front of 160 of our closest family and friends. I felt like an absolute princess in my Lazaro gown and Christian Louboutin shoes, and Jared looked like quite the stud in his Hugo Boss tux!

Years ago, my now husband crashed a ladies night. We laughed, danced, and had the most fun we have ever had! When the time came to walk down the aisle, my mom and sisters came with me to try on dresses. My mom immediately spotted “the dress”, it was an Alvina Valenta. It was the first dress I tried on. Not only did I fall in love with my dress, but I fell in love with the store. After my own wedding I started working at Che Bella and now I get to help brides find their dream dress!
I’ve had a love affair with winter ever since I can remember; having grown up in Montreal. I married an American who was living in Arizona so my hopes of a winter wedding took some convincing. I kept envisioning the outdoor wedding pictures and how romantic it would be to be dressed in white lace standing outside on a snowy day.
My vision came true and the day was beyond perfect; it was whimsical and magical.

After dating a decade, Elliot and I were married at St. Vincent DePaul Parish, the church of our alma mater. Our cocktail hour was at the Wit’s ROOF, showcasing unparalleled views of the city during the holidays. We were then transported to a winter wonderland in the Wit’s ballroom where crystals dripped and candles twinkled from manzanita trees, cobalt blue lighting warmed the room, pictures of Chicago landmarks adorned tables, and a lush cloud laced with crystals and candles hovered over the dance floor. It was truly our happiest day!

We were married in the beautiful Airlie Gardens of Wilmington, North Carolina. We fell in love with the incredible 450 year old LIVE Oak Tree as the centerpiece of our wedding reception. My Alvina Valenta gown was the perfect fit for our vintage, rustic theme.

I first came across Alvina Valenta dresses in 2005 while helping a girlfriend shop for her gown. I had never seen such beautiful dresses, and knew immediately that the delicate lace, vintage charm and touch of sparkle were exactly my style. Fast forward 7 years, and I couldn’t wait to find my very own AV dress. Sure enough, just as fate brought me the man of my dreams, it also brought me my perfect dress.

Talley and I took our first trip away together Memorial Day Weekend of 2011 to The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. The resort was amazing and it kind of became “our place.” Exactly one year later, Talley surprised me with a trip back to that resort where he proposed on top of Camelback Mountain. So it was an easy decision where to have the wedding – The Phoenician Resort. We loved the desert luxury ambiance of the resort, and the cactus garden provided an unusual but beautiful backdrop for photography.

We met 16 years ago as teenagers, growing up in Jamaica. We both left Jamaica to pursue a college education, he went to the UK and I to the US. Two years ago we were reconnected by the same friend who introduced us as teens. Immediately a romance blossomed and flourished in-spite of us still living in two different countries. It became immediately apparent that we were meant to be together as not even the Atlantic Ocean could keep us apart. Excitedly, we both returned home to Jamaica to tie the knot in front of family and friends. Sherane wore Lazaro bridal gown style 3259.

Thomas and Jeannine were married in the city where they met: Philadelphia. They wanted the wedding to fully encompass everything they love about the city: history, stunning views, and fun! They choose Old St. Joseph’s Church, the oldest Catholic Church in Philadelphia, for the ceremony. The reception was held at Top of the Tower with the most beautiful panoramic views of the Philadelphia skyline. Of course the day would not be complete without a stop at the Philadelphia Art Museum. It was a flawless day.

I knew what I envisioned in a dress: lace, classic, delicate, lovely, buttons–a must. I thought it might be difficult to find, not wanting any glitz or glimmer, so to say. However, as soon as I slipped into the AV gown, there was no question. The sweetheart neckline covered in lace overlay, delightfully low back, and eyelash lace immediately had me smitten, and of course, the buttons!! Needless to say, this dress far exceeded my desires. Our wedding day was absolutely wonderful and joy-filled, and I felt the epitome of lovely and beautiful in my Alvina Valenta gown.

We met in middle school and were married in the same church where my parents were married: First Presbyterian Church. The day was absolutely perfect, was celebrated with friends and family, and was filled with laughter and a whole lot of love. I knew I wanted to wear style 3108 when I saw it on TV before I was even engaged! When I put the dress on, I knew instantly this was it. I wore my dream dress on our wedding day, had the wedding of my dreams, and married the man of my dreams! What a perfect fairy tale!

Our wedding was a dream come true! We loved the idea of having a romantic and traditional wedding. Our colors were a classic ivory – ivory linens, roses, orchids, dance floor – with accents of gold – gold chiavari chairs, chargers, table number frames. Our focus was to incorporate USC, where we met, and both the New Zealand and Armenian cultures. When I saw this Jim Hjelm gown, I knew that was the dress for me. After meeting the very sweet and talented designer, Francesa, it was a done deal! It was the most wonderful day that we will never forget!

Shopping for my dress was exciting and effortless. When I tried on my Alvina Valenta gown, there was no question that I had found “the one.” Lace, sweetheart neckline and fit-and-flare – the dress was classic, fresh, romantic, mature, sexy and just perfection. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on our wedding day.
My husband and I were married at The Palm House at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and are thrilled that the joy we shared that day was so beautifully captured in our photographs and remembered by our families and friends.

To get straight to the point, it was love at first sight. I was an ob nurse and he was the sexy, handsome doctor delivering the babies. We have been through thick and thin, blending two families and having a son of our own in April of 2011. We have been best friends for 15 years and run an ob/Gyn practice together. He the owner and I his dedicated side kick helping other families share the joy we have already found. Our wedding was a true fairy tale and my dress was AMAZING!

Chef, Adam Tyler and Corporate Event Planner, Kaiti Mahady, finally let someone else do the cooking and planning for their beautiful, rustic wedding weekend in North Wales, PA at the Joseph Ambler Inn. Kaiti enjoyed their big day wearing a stunning, two-piece, Tara Keely gown (style 2210), while Adam and his groomsmen looked incredibly handsome in tan Michael Kors suits.

We married in the beautiful hill country at Rancho Mirando. Both from Mexican decent, we had a Latin themed wedding with blush & gold shades. Our ceremony was outdoors with music played by mariachis. Cocktail hour featured signature cocktails & a tapa bar. We met salsa dancing so we had one of our favorite Austin Latin bands Charanga Cakewalk play for our indoor reception & gave personalized maracas as favors. Our floral was a mix of succulents, peonies, and pink roses. We had a 4 tier lace tres leches cake with an assortment of Mexican pastries. It was a fairytale come to life!

Our dream wedding took place in the Rocky Mountains. We wanted to have a rustic woodland wedding while being fashionable at the same time! I loved that my dress wasn’t the typical white and that it had some beautiful bling on it. Our wedding ceremony was pure magic, and I couldn’t imagine a better day to marry my soulmate, surrounded by all of our family and friends.

My wedding dress was actually the very first dress I tried on! It had every element I wanted in a wedding dress…tulle, lace, buttons, and it fit our vintage/romantic setting perfectly! We wanted every detail in “Our Story” theme to be a reflection of how our love story unfolded! We had our first kiss under a tree with a chandelier hanging in it, so naturally our wedding reception would have chandeliers hanging in trees! I handmade everything…the bridesmaid jewelry, the boutineers, & the paper flowers in my bouquet It was truly the most magical night of our lives!

I will always remember the first time I saw Terry. We were both attending law school at the University of Baltimore, and from the first time I saw him, I had an overwhelming feeling that he was someone who was going to be a big part of my life. We had an instant connection, quickly began dating and almost instantly fell in love. Our first date was at a wonderful tapas restaurant and three and a half years later, Terry proposed at the same restaurant. Terry is my best friend, my soul mate and the love of my life.

I spent months looking for the perfect dress, I wish I could wear it again ; it fit like a glove and I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life, Troy couldnt stop telling me how gorgeous I looked! Our wedding took place at the beautiful La Valencia Hotel. The theme was “key to my heart” with soft colors of mint, rose, silver and cream. Troy and I wrote our own vows and just loved sharing the words of our promises for the future with our family and friends. It was the best day of our lives.
After a blind date 5 years ago, followed by the birth of our son Freddie 3 years later, we were married in the beautiful town of Ravello on the Amalfi coast of Italy.

We met in high school but did not date until after college. We remained friends and started officially dating after we rung in the NY on Beale Street in Memphis, TN. We immediately became each other’s soulmates and knew we were determined to be together forever. At the time, I was in Tallahassee finishing up my degree at Florida State University while Joey was living in Memphis starting his career. We both then reached a new beginning in our careers and headed to Orlando, FL where we now call home. He proposed in the privacy of our own home during the Christmas holidays of 2011. We married March 2013 at a historic home called Casa Feliz in Winter Park, FL and had the best day of our life!

Jeff and I were married on November 10, 2012 at the Inn on Biltmore Estate. The ceremony was held on the vista over looking the Blue Ridge Mountains and the reception was held in the Inn’s Vanderbilt ballroom.
Originally I was looking for a ball gown but fell in love with Lazaro 3050 from the moment I tried it on. The ruffle detail on the skirt added a romantic touch and the dramatic chapel train provided the elegant statement that fit in perfectly with the grandeur of the Biltmore Estate. It was the perfect dress for our big day!
I wanted an antique-looking lace dress. My mom came for the weekend and after one exhausting day shopping, I almost gave up. The first dress I tried on the second day was “the one.” I got teary, and even my mom (who had been disagreeing with me) said it was perfect!
For the bridesmaids, I wanted muted colors to represent fall without being too Thanksgivingy. Because Nate and his groomsmen all hate wearing suits, I chose khakis- with a vest for him and suspenders for the guys.
