Jonathan and I met as total strangers 4 years ago in Boston. We wanted a small, simple yet elegant wedding with unique modern elements that fit our individual styles. It was an incredibly special day, with family providing many of the important aspects. My hometown of Garrison, NY was the most beautiful backdrop. I tried on many wedding dresses, but they all had something that I wanted to change. When I slipped the Tara Keely on, my entourage and I were in tears before I reached the mirror. I knew it was the one!

Stephen and I met and married 5 years later on his birthday, 3/24. I was living in Boston, MA and he was on tour for work. We later moved to Portland, OR in 2010 and we feel so blessed that family and friends from around the globe came to celebrate our union. Our wedding day was full of meaningful accents and DIY charm: birthday bunny cake, flower design by my sister, professional lighting and sound, homemade and home found decor, pinball and standup video games. It was SO much FUN! Most of all, our day was ALL ABOUT LOVE. As for our bridal party, we asked ladies in the bridal party to wear jewel toned dresses of their choice. The gentlemen in the bridal party were asked to wear charcoal pants and a baby blue button up. We gifted them a pair of teal suspenders to wear. A friend of ours made up a design based on the lace pattern of my dress and silkscreened this pattern onto tote bags for the ladies and ties for all the guys. Our boutonnieres were felt snowflakes with beaded accents, since we love the snow.

Brian and I met through a friend and got engaged 8 months afterward. After a 1 year engagement the day finally came and even though I wasn’t controlling every detail, everything went smoothly. It was a small southern themed wedding with everything from brisket to corn bread. The food and close family atmosphere made all 42 guests feel at home. And I felt so special in my elegant and manageable gown.

When I tried my dress on everyone was instantly in love with it. I was told that I could marry a prince or a rock star and still be able to wear this dress. It was so beautiful and fun at the same time which is everything I wanted my entire wedding to be. I felt like a true princess!

I married my best friend on October 8, 2011 in Santa Barbara, Ca. Our ceremony was held at the Santa Barbara Mission and our reception took place at a beautiful private estate, La Bella Vita Gardens, located in the foothills of Montecito. The Tara Keely dress is a classic silhouette with personality and flair which is the perfect definition of my style! I still look back at our pictures and fall in love with my dress all over again!

Our September wedding at the Mattress Factory Art Museum in Pittsburgh, PA, truly was everything we had hoped it would be and more. I fell in love with my dress as soon as I saw it online. Unfortunately, none of the stores in Pittsburgh carried it. I tried others on over the next few months, but nothing compared to this dress. So, I traveled to New York City for the Tara Keely trunk show at Kleinfeld. As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the one. It was worth the wait!

I married my boyfriend of 11 years on 9/17/2011 after getting engaged in Paris. I knew I wanted a gown that was simple, elegant and airy feeling but not TOO poofy! The Tara Keely gown was perfect and was able to perfectly fit my budget. We held the wedding at a beautiful New Orleans Style Mansion in Westfield, NJ called the James Ward Mansion. We had the best night of our lives and still get compliments on how great everything worked out!

Nathan and I met through a mutual friend in 2007. We were engaged in September 2009. We started as friends but frequent ski trips and social outings made us realize how much more we meant to each other! We were married in the Spring of 2010 and had a wonderful DIY style wedding in the mountains of Western North Carolina. It has been bliss ever since!

In many ways, my dress embodied the overall feel Kyle and I wanted for our wedding: sophistication, romance, comfort. It was the first dress I tried, and I immediately loved its timeless-yet-vintage feel.
Moments before my father and I walked down the aisle, we both took an ill-fated step, and he accidentally ripped a 6-inch hole in my train. We both stared at each other, but what could we do? We laughed it off, and headed on down. After the ceremony, my coordinator sewed it, and it was no worse for wear.

Michael and I were high school sweethearts. After we graduated he went on to join the military to become a firefighter but we were determined to stay together and make our relationship a priority. He was stationed in Alaska when he proposed to me on top of a mountain at sunset, I was so excited! I went home to plan our wedding and we finally got married after being long distance for a year and a half.

The best day ever! 3 bridesmaids all wearing black but all different styles. The groom wore a bespoke tweed suit made in Edinburgh. We used our own campervan as the brides transport to the wedding and for the honeymoon afterwards.

Isaac and I decided on a destination wedding in Rincon, a tiny town on the west coast of Puerto Rico. Surrounded by the lush landscaping of our villa, Caracol Che, we said, “I do”, and celebrated the night away with our closest family and friends. It was a day more perfect than I ever imagined. I loved my dress, the food, the location…everything!
A vintage dream wedding that we named “TRUE LOVE”… It took place in Oscarskyrkan, Stockholm and the reception was held the beautiful hotel Stallmastaregarden right by the water in central Stockholm.
My dress was the one and the only one I tried on, I knew right away it was the one. It had everything I was looking for and I am still in love with it….

Finding a wedding dress was so much harder that I had imagined it to be. I had tried on many dresses and was having a hard time finding the perfect one! I saw a Tara Keely dress in a magazine and just knew it was the one. Needing support my mom, step-mom, two sisters, auntie and niece and i all drove to Janene’s Bridal Boutique in Alameda. I tried on the dress and never looked back..

The dress I chose for my wedding day ended up being the first one I tried on- I fell in love instantly. I kept thinking that there was no way I could have found “THE” dress with the first one I tried on. Every dress I tried on after that just couldn’t compare with the way I felt and looked in that first dress. I felt beautiful, elegant, and comfortable all at the same time. I’m SO glad I chose the Tara Keely dress. I couldn’t imagine wearing any other dress on my wedding day.

Our wedding day was filled with our closest friends and family, our favorite music, delicious food and wine, love and celebration. To top it all off, I wore the loveliest dress I will ever own. It was a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime day!
LOS GATOS, CA, United States
Our wedding was set in the Santa Cruz mountains, above the small beach town of Capitola. We knew from the outset that we wanted a rustic barn wedding with a romantic vintage tone and many personal details. Our goal was incorporate our family history while celebrating our style and our story as a couple. The Tara Keely wedding dress played into our wedding perfectly. It was romantic and sweet. It was elegant yet perfect with cowgirl boots. Truly the perfect day and weekend thanks to our friends, family and vendors for turning our dream and vision into a wonderful memory.

Our wedding turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined, but the best parts were moments shared with family and friends. Like, chasing around my nephew in my dress before the ceremony, the boys showing up in fake mustaches, my brother-in-law playing the guitar as we walked down the aisle, my choreographed dance to “My Girl” with my dad, our first-dance, Ian shoving cake up my nose, and an impromptu rap performance by my brother-in-law and cousin. Those are the things that made our day absolutely perfect!

Two strangers boarded a flight from AZ to GA. As they found their seats and prayed for a safe flight, little did they know God already planned something much greater. The two began talking and discovered they were from the same Georgia hometown. A few weeks later they went on a first date, quickly fell in love and committed to a Chicago/Atlanta long-distance relationship. A few years later, the boy proposed on a NC beach. The wedding ceremony took place at Peachtree Christian Church and the reception at Greystone in Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA.

Nicole (who wore a Tara Keely bridal gown – style 2917) and Christopher were married on a chilly February Sunday at the legendary Cà d’ Zan mansion (part of the Ringling Brothers museum) in Sarasota, FL. The mansion, known as “the last of the Gilded Age mansions”, reflects all the romance and decadence of Venetian Gothic architecture. “I loved how the look of our location made it seem like we were in some other country.”
Kenny and I were married on a most beautiful Saturday in May 2009 at the historic Calhoun Beach Club in Minneapolis, MN. We wanted the day to really reflect us as a couple and incorporate what was most important to us.
Julia and Kenny wanted their wedding to reflect a “crisp, clean, modern glamour”… so the bride chose a Tara Keely gown – style 2853 – and a color palette of white, platinum, black, and hints of green throughout.
