1.     Plan Ahead (Way Ahead)

The earlier you start planning the better! Sit down with your fiancé and anyone else who is helping you plan and make a calendar for when things need to be completed; the flowers, finding the perfect dress, the cake, finding a venue etc. Set deadlines for every task and try to meet each deadline so you don’t end up with a long list of last minute things to do!

2.    Do Not Be Afraid To Ask For Help

With so much going on at one time do not be afraid to ask for help! To lessen the stress on yourself have close friends/family help with the little things that take up time like making the favors, decorating the placement cards etc.

3.     Book As Many Services As Your Can With Only One Vendor

Take advantage of vendors that supply multiple services you may need for the day. For example a party rental company may supply the linens, chairs, chair bowties, tables etc.

4.     Make Your Final Payments Before Your Day

No one wants the trouble of trying to locate and pen and checkbook on the day of your wedding, so try to pay everything in advance. Also, pre-set aside an envelope with tip money for the venue and caterers to hand over at the end of the night.

5.     Have Someone Listen To The Wedding Speeches In Advanced

Not knowing what is going to be said during your wedding speeches can be very unnerving. So, have a trusted friend listen to them in advance and give you their honest opinion without telling you all details-you still want to be surprised! Knowing Uncle Gus won’t be telling the story you hate will be quite a relief to know before the big day.[Haha!]

6.     Take Care Of Yourself

Usually, when someone is under lots of pressure they can tend to forget about taking care of themselves. Remember to eat right and keep up with an exercise routine. Clearing your head will do you a world of good even if it is just a short walk around the block.

7. Remember Why You Are Celebrating In The First Place

Don’t get too caught up in the little details. This is about you and your fiancé, nothing else matters. Enjoy your day and stay present in the moment! This real bride Katie is wearing a Blush By Hayley Paige gown style "Maisie"
