Jessica and Alex

Alex and I met while working in law enforcement as deputy sheriffs in South Florida in 2014. What started as a friendly coworker relationship quickly turned into a romantic future. In 2017, Alex proposed to me while visiting his family in Alabama at the most stunning barn surrounded by a tunnel of trees and a secret photographer! Throughout 2017 we traveled to numerous locations attempting to locate the perfect spot for a destination wedding. On a cruise to my hometown of St. Thomas, USVI we found the perfect location at Caneel Bay Resort and set the date for 07/01/18. In September 2017, the Virgin Islands was hit with two category five hurricanes that demolished our dream wedding resort, causing us to restart our wedding planning process. Through lots of research I located an estate on St. Thomas, Sand Dollar that somehow was spared by both hurricanes and the wedding planning began again! In May 2018 our dream wedding was finally a reality as we were surrounded by 20 of our closest family members and friends. We could not be more thankful to have such a loving family and support system to pour there love into us.
