I found my Prince Charming! It was summertime and I had no idea that my husband was about to walk into my life. I was attending a high school coach's meeting and so was Dan. I had been teaching at the high school for a few years already, but Dan was brand new to the school. I was the cheerleading coach and Dan was one of the football and basketball coaches. I was not expecting to see anyone new in the meeting and then I saw Dan. In the next few days, the school year began and we would run into each other when passing in the hallways. We exchanged phone numbers and once that happened, Dan did not waste any time asking me out. One date is all it took for me to fall head over heels. I knew Dan was going to be my best friend and ultimately redefine what love and happiness meant to me. Dan and I dated for three years. He proposed to me on the beach, under the moonlight, just after fireworks. It was the most romantic night of our lives! Once Dan and I started looking at wedding venues, our decision was very easy to make. It was only fitting to have our fairytale wedding day take place in the same town as our proposal. Dan and I were the first outdoor wedding ceremony of the year at Clarks Landing Yacht Club! Our wedding colors were black, white and gold. My stunning Hayley Paige wedding gown made me feel like a real-life princess! Every detail came together perfectly and all our dreams became a reality!
