New Jersey natives and high school sweethearts, Nicole & David, had always planned to get married someday, but David’s military career and endless deployments continued to put that dream on hold. While stationed in San Diego in 2016, they squeezed in a quiet courthouse wedding between deployments, but were devastated that on such short notice and being on the opposite side of the country, their family could not be there. They made it their goal to save up, and have a huge soirée once they returned to the East Coast. With hard work and patience, their dream came true. FINALLY. With good karma and great timing, they snagged the venue of their dreams and David was able to return from deployment just five days before the wedding! Their coastal glam wedding presented the subtle theme of a Sailor & his Mermaid...and it was certainly “Worth The Wait." At last, they were able to celebrate their unique love story with friends and family, and it was truly a mermazing day!
