Stephanie and Elias

06/23/2018

Elias and Stephanie tied the knot on June 23, 2018, at “The Forest Venue- Mar Challita”, in Lebanon. The couple met in March 2014 in Paris, which became their place of residence and where they fell in love. Of Lebanese origin, the couple wished to celebrate their wedding with their parents, relatives, and friends in Lebanon. The wedding and the reception were at the same venue. This simple, cozy, and elegant reception area was full of greenery and pine trees, which went perfectly with the style they were looking for.

The couple wanted a simple, elegant, sober, modern and romantic ceremony. The atmosphere of the wedding was based on a romantic floral theme and greenery. The chosen color palette was white and green with gold splashes. They had geometrical structures holding white flowers and greenery and modern wooden furniture for the dinner’s decoration. Green, pink and white flowers were the color palette for the ceremony’s decoration. The couple said “I Do” under a central floral arch placed in the center. The guests sat around the bride & groom which created a sharing and conviviality atmosphere. The chosen flowers for both the ceremony and reception dinner were Peonies, David Austin Roses (known as English Roses), Hydrangeas, Ornithogalums, Spray Roses, Eustomas, Astibles, Veronicas, and Eucalyptus. They were imported from Holland.

Stephanie chose a Hayley Paige gown that fits her personality. She chose Hayley Paiges' “Dare Gown”, an ivory draped organza bridal gown, with a curved V-neckline and an open back with side cutout detail and a full cascading skirt. The skirt’s movement reminded her of the geometrical structures of the deco and created a form of an open rose that could recall the theme. The bridal bouquet was made up of white peonies, pink David Austin roses, white hydrangeas & eucalyptus. Peonies and David Austin roses are Stephanie’s favorite flowers. Hydrangeas were the favorite flowers of her maternal grandmother who passed away four months before her marriage. Stephanie chose to add the hydrangeas in her bouquet to feel the presence of her beloved grandmother with her constantly on this special day.

In sum, the wedding reflected the couple’s personality. The newlyweds danced the night away under the stars with their families and friends. They had a great time and it was one of the best days of their lives!
