We met my junior year of high school, it was his senior year (2010). He graduated and moved away for college but we kept in touch those two years he was gone. One night he was in Dallas, he told me he had good news, was moving back. On the way to my niece’s birthday party in 2012, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Flash forward seven years, Christmas Eve of 2018 in front of his family he proposed after we finished opening our Christmas gifts. He said “I have one more present, but it’s more of a question” and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
