Vincenzo and Suzanne

Vincenzo proposed on a warm summer day in August 2014 with both my family and his family present. We both knew we wanted a traditional ceremony and an elegant and extravagant wedding. When we saw The Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, NJ we both knew it was the perfect setting for our dream reception. The ceremony was held at my church, IHM which is 5 minutes from where I grew up in Scarsdale, NY. Shortly after booking the venue I started my search for the perfect wedding dress. I must have tried on 100 dresses and went to 20 different stores but nothing fit my vision. I knew I wanted a dress that looked regal. I also knew I wanted something that had an illusion top, which limited my options. I ended up at a small bridal boutique in Albany NY, where Vincenzo  grew up. When I walked into Angela's Bridal I was confident I would find my dress there. When I tried on the Lazaro gown that I ended up choosing I knew it was exactly what I had been searching for. My custom designed crystal rose headpiece was the perfect bridal headpiece to compliment my Lazaro Gown. Vincenzo and I wanted a spring wedding with greenery everywhere and flowers budding around us. My bridesmaids were in the color rose and my MOH was in blush pink.
